GLOBAL TRENDS 2030: ALTERNATIVE WORLDS (March 25, 6:00 to 7:30 pm) The recently released National Intelligence Council’s 'Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds' identifies a number of megatrends that will transform the world over the next 20 years. These trends include population growth and aging, the expansion of individual empowerment, and increased competition for food, water, and energy. It also identifies a number of “game-changers” – critical political, economic, and technological changes -- that will fundamentally affect how the world works and the role of the United States as the world changes. Join Casimir Yost, Director of the Strategic Futures Group, National Intelligence Council, for this interesting discussion sponsored by the Global Human Development Program. When and where: Monday, March 25 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in ICC Room 302P. RSVP: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5520610294. |
