New! 4th ANNUAL GEORGETOWN DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL SECURITY CONFERENCE: LOOKING AHEAD: FUTURE NATIONAL SECURITY CHALLENGES (March 22, 3:00 to 7:30 pm) Georgetown's largest student-run international affairs conference will host policymakers and experts to discuss future national security challenges faced by the United States. In the wake of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, how is the United States military changing to meet the challenges of the 21st century? Does the so-called 'Asian Pivot' indicate new security priorities for the United States? How will the U.S. respond to the changing landscapes of the Middle East and Southwest Asia? These and more questions will be addressed by the opening keynote speaker, former National Security Adviser to President Obama and Supreme Allied Commander of Europe General and Combatant Commander (ret.) Jim Jones (SFS'66). For session information and locations and to register, please go to: http://gdisc.eventbrite.com/.
