Details New! GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY AFRICA FORUM: 'Kenya under Kenyatta?' (April 15, 12:30 to 1:30 pm)

Following a contested election, Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in as Kenya's new president on April 9, 2013. Marking the first time an International Criminal Court indictee has been made head of state, what are the regional and international implications of Kenyatta's appointment? Furthermore, what does the future of Kenya look like under this new leadership? When and where: Monday, April 15 from 12:30-1:30 pm in the ICC Executive Conference Room (7th Floor), as we discuss these and other questions with Rob Baker, Project and Outreach Manager at Ushahidi, and Regina Njogu, Principal Attorney at RNW Law Firm.
