Details Georgetown University Center for the Environment Distinguished Lecture:
'Captive Whales: Beneath the Surface' with guest speaker Naomi Rose, PhD, Senior Scientist with Humane Society International.

Dr. Rose oversees HSI campaigns to protect wild and captive marine mammals and is a member of the International Whaling Commission’s Scientific Committee. She has published popular and scientific articles, authored book chapters, lectures annually at universities, and participates in workshops and task forces at the international, national, and state levels. Her doctoral disseration (University of California at Santa Cruz, 1992) focused on the social dynamics of killer whales.
