The Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) is an international, governmental forum with input from civil society actors. It marks a new global process designed to enhance the positive impact of migration on development (and vice versa). This Briefing discusses the evolution of thinking about temporary work programs and the results of the recent GFMD in Athens. The speakers include: Susan Martin, Executive Director ISIM and Donald G.
