Details Elder Care Series:

The following guides you if you should attend this program. Are you the family member or friend who...

Oversees medication/diet of an elder?
Transports an elder family member or friend to appointments?
Manages his/her finances?
Grocery shops for an elder family member or friend?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, this program is for you. The program includes a 5-session series which will cover caregiver concerns, elder concerns, legal issues, options to choose as a caregiver, and end of life care. Presenters are carefully chosen to accurately represent the topics. The options to choose as a caregiver will be a panel including representatives from a nursing home, assisted living and home-care. The end of life care will have a representative from a hospice and the legal issues session will be covered by a lawyer who will discuss the many legal complexities involving Elder Care.

The FSAP Series brings programs besides wellness programs and presentations that an employee needs to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit in order to contribute fully in the workplace. The FSAP Series was designed to provide members of the Georgetown family with opportunities to learn more about families and relationships.

These programs are offered free to all Georgetown faculty, staff, students and alumni.
