On Grace A Staged Reading performed by Anna Deavere Smith and Joshua Roman, cello 'On Grace' is a work in progress which seeks to define the concept of 'grace' from multiple perspectives. Collaborating with acclaimed cellist Joshua Roman, celebrated playwright and actress Anna Deavere Smith ('Let Me Down Easy,' 'Nurse Jackie,' 'The West Wing') uses her unique technique for making theater to examine grace by performing a variety of people she has interviewed on the subject. Some interviewees include the late Reverend Peter Gomes, Imam Faisil Abdul Rauf, Chef Alice Waters and Rabbi David Wolpe. The performance will be followed by a discussion with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. FREE, BUT TICKETED. Tickets are currently unavailable.
