Join the four recipients of the 2012 Education and Social Justice Fellowship as they reflect on their research findings and experiences abroad during this past summer and answer questions from interested applicants for the upcoming year. Dinner will be provided. Shea Houlihan traveled to Uganda to investigate the role of education in post-conflict reconstruction. Masha Goncharova explored the critical role of education in preserving the cultural identity of Russian émigrés in Paris. Lisa Frank focused on the educational programs of Fe y Alegría in the service of social justice in Bolivia. Finally, Charlotte Markson worked with the Universidad Católica del Uruguay to investigate its work related to social justice and education. |
