Freedom without Walls
A project week celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall
Organized by the Department of German in cooperation with the German Information Center
OPENING EVENT: Building A Replica of the Berlin Wall
Friday, November 6 beginning at noon in Red Square.
Join your fellow GU students for a fun-filled afternoon. Help build and decorate a number of sections of a Wall replica.
Put your best creative ideas forward and help decorate a section. Materials will be provided.
Get free give-aways from the German Embassy and the German Information Center.
Afterwards, the sections created will be moved into ICC Galleria where they will remain for the week of November 9-13, 2009.
