November 6-8, 2009
A tradition since 1987, the AGAPE retreat provides a weekend for Georgetown students to explore their faith, relax, reflect, and have a great time. Participants hear talks from student team leaders and Jesuit chaplains. The retreat includes small group interaction, prayer, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and culminates in Sunday Mass. Click the link below to register and have one of the best weekend's of your Georgetown experience!
What does 'Agape' mean? Pronounced 'a-GAH-pay,' this is the word the first Christians used to describe the meal that accompanied the Eucharist in the early Church. It meant 'love feast.' It also refers to God's love - unconditional, unbounded, and freely given.
